Summer camp for 500 orphan-children

.

Ukraine Charity contributed £6,000 to support annual Help Us Help the Children (HUHTC) summer camp held in July 2008 for three weeks in Vorokhta, situated in Western Ukraine's Carpathian Mountains. The camp's 500 orphans come from across the country and learn valuable life-skills like First Aid, computers and team-building. They make new friendships, participate in Ukrainian traditions, and are encouraged to learn Ukrainian, as some of the campers come from Russian-speaking Eastern Ukraine.
